More recently Larnell Lewis from modern jazzers 'Snarky Puppy', the hip hop and broken beats of Ahmir Questlove Thompson, Swedish Muso Trio Dirty Loops, the inspirational music of California's Cory Wong, Soul of Jorden Rakei, the UK's own Tom Misch & UK Drum & Bass newcomer Adred have been strong influences to both Daddy Funk's playing and teaching.
